Our Story

In 2006, Emma opened the salon in Haddington Place, Leith walk with a vision of a new, green, eco friendly, cruelty free and organic hair salon. At that time, nobody spoke about animal testing, natural hair colour, and what ingredients were in the hair colour. She decided that now was the time to open her organic and vegan hair salon. the first hair salon in Edinburgh of its kind. She decided that all products and colours in the salon would be cruelty free, organic, sustainable, eco friendly and vegan. We aimed to be the best organic hair salon in Edinburgh. This has been her passion for over 18 years, and we only use the highest quality colours, from OWAY, and are sure that every product is checked to make sure it is organic, cruelty free, and vegan, always.

If its a balayage expert, a curly hair specialist, a colour specialist, copper hair expert or blonde specialist you are looking for we have them all.. We have over 50 years combined experience in our salon.

Emma also wanted to create a salon that is as fun and relaxed to work in, as it was to visit. That everyone would feel comfortable, with a non judgement policy, and that hairdressing should never be intimidating or daunting. She is incredibly proud of her salon, and her team.
