Santa is coming
Christmas is the most lovely time in the salon. Everybody is excited, everybody getting spruced up for Christmas, time with their families, time off work, just excited to get a break from whatever is going on in life for a few days. I LOVE the month of Christmas music, sparkly lights and our fabulous tree. I really love adding to the decorations too, every year getting more and more cosy..
We love to make sure that everyone is organised for Christmas so always suggest booking your Christmas hair well in advance. Now is the ideal time to get booked up, so click on the book now link to get booked in for Christmas!
A couple of lovely Christmas stories I heard….
We have a lovely client who works at a children’s hospital, and on Christmas Eve, a hospital worker always dresses up as Santa, and at midnight, always takes a gift around each of the beds. He tries his best to be quiet, but if a child happens to wake up…They’ve just seen magic happen…..
Also….. I was talking to a lovely client the other day… He was telling me about the time his friend was a Santa for children at Waverley market. He’s a lovely big man with full on white beard. He was finished for the day, and still had a couple of wrapped gifts left, which he decided to take home to his grandchildren. He got changed, hopped on the train to Glasgow, and and on the way out of Queen street station, he stopped at a crossing where a child and his dad were waiting to cross the road. The wee boy turned his Dad and said “That’s Santa!!” The Dad shooshed the wee boy and apologised to the man. The man reached into his bag, and handed the boy a wrapped present from his bag for the boy, with a wink and a smile, and probably made that wee boy’s Christmas……
people are really lovely, aren’t they?
