Spring is in the hair….

Its February!! Is anyone else really excited about spring coming up?

We need to talk about your hair… Yes, you’ve been working from home.. I know, I know, and yes its been cold, I know that too but you really need to take the messy bun down now…..

We can sort that for you… Are your roots making your hair feel drab? the ends needing some tlc?

Lets talk about winter/spring self care..

Hydration is Key:
   * Winter's dry air saps moisture. Replenish it with deep conditioning treatments.
    Oway Recommendation:
     * Consider Oway's moistursing hair masks, like those from their moisturising products. Look for products containing ingredients like biodynamic oat, organic cupuaçu butter, and ethical pracaxi oil, which are often found in Oway's hydrating products.
   * Also ensure you are drinking plenty of water, to hydrate from the inside out.

 Sort out Winter Damage:
   * Split ends and breakage are common after winter. A trim will refresh your hair and promote healthy growth.

* refresh your colour! Hair can feel drab and lifeless if the colour needs done. Come in and let us sort that out gently for you!

 Scalp Care:
   * Winter can irritate your scalp. Exfoliate gently and use a nourishing scalp treatment.
   Oway Recommendation:
     * Oway offers scalp treatment options. Explore their scalp care lines for products that address dryness, irritation, or excess oil. Their purifying scalp treatments can be great for a spring refresh.
 * Lighten Up on Heavy Products:
   * As temperatures rise, switch to lighter conditioners and styling products to avoid weighing your hair down.

 Protect Against Humidity:

   * Rain and mist can lead to frizz. (sadly even in spring in Scotland!) Use anti-frizz products to keep your hair smooth.
   * Look for Oway styling products that offer frizz control and humidity protection.

Gentle Cleansing:
   * Avoid harsh shampoos that can strip your hair of its natural oils. Opt for gentle, sulfate-free cleansers.
   * Oway is known for its organic and biodynamic ingredients, so their shampoos tend to be gentler on the hair and scalp.

 Heat Styling Reduction:
   * Try to minimize the use of heat styling tools, as they can further dry out your hair. When you do use them, use a heat protectant.

Oway Product Considerations:
 * Oway emphasizes organic and biodynamic ingredients, making them a good choice for those seeking natural haircare solutions.
